For the last 12 years I have been teaching three foreign languages – English, German and Dutch. I also offer Polish lessons to foreigners living in Warsaw. The fact that I speak many languages (except for the languages I teach, I have a good command of French, Italian, Spanish and Danish) helps me better understand problems which foreigners come across while learning Polish.
A big advantage is also the fact that I can often use their own language to explain more difficult aspects of my mother tongue.During my lessons I pay attention to all the language skills: listening, reading, writing and speaking. I also attach great importance to proper grammar and good pronunciation. In my opinion all of these elements are of great importance and none of them should be neglected.
I use the best coursebooks available on the Polish market and newspaper articles or texts connected with Polish culture in case of more advanced students.
What is also very important, I am an open person with a great sense of humour and I have excellent interpersonal skills. Therefore my students always enjoy my classes. I love teaching foreigners, giving them useful hints concerning Poland and at the same time learning more about their countries and customs. It is always a big pleasure for me and undoubtedly a mutual advantage.
